New images from our WIP game.
I had initially intended to replace those placeholder brambles this week, but we got focused on other issues. Now that we’re much happier with the playtests, the main focus was to get things to look nicer, as Yuriy had quite rightly pointed out that the scenes looked very flat.
I also ended up learning about shaders and using the Strumpy Shader Editor to create a shader to blend two textures based on a pattern specified on a third (see the trees), and used a full screen effect kindly provided by Texel to get a bit of a more oppressive atmosphere when the stage is corrupted.

There’s some gameplay tweaks and lots of minor changes, but those will wait until we have time to record a video.
